This year over 125 artists and artisans are coming to Rehoboth to display and sell their fine art and fine crafts at the 42nd Annual Outdoor Art Show! Come rain or shine, this two weekend-long event will be held August 8 & 9 and August 15 & 16 from 10 a.m. to 5 p. m (Saturdays) and 10 a.m. to 4 p. m (Sundays). The show will take place at the Rehoboth Art League’s 3.5-acre historic wooded grounds located in Henlopen Acres.
Started in 1973, the annual Outdoor show was historically hung on snow fences yielding exceptional artwork and eclectic crafts. To continue the tradition, many artists will also display their work on quaint snow fences as well as set up little white tents for more intimate pieces.
Aside from being an art show it’s also a fun family summer event featuring great food (prepared by Nage’s Cafe and The Point), music, face-painting, artist demonstrations, and art exhibits in the galleries and gardens. Take a tour of the historic homestead and end your day with refreshing lemonade or a cold one at the Dogfish Head Biergarten.
The weekend entrance fee is $5 per adult and kids under 12 get in free. For complete details and ticket purchases click here.
