Get Outdoors & Explore The Shore

Don’t let the cold weather stop you from getting out! Visit Rehoboth Beach during its Winter Hike Series and to get the perfect balance of adventure. Every Saturday morning in January, a park naturalist will lead a hike in different location within the seashore region. Not only will this brisk morning hike encourage you to stay active, it will also allow those to learn about the rich local history and natural wonders of our area.

Beginning at 8:30am, these “weekend warm-up” hikes will take place among a selected location at the Delaware State Park. Participants are welcome as early as 8am to enjoy a hot cup of coffee prior to starting their journey. To get outdoors and stay active this season - Call (302) 227-6991 by 3pm the day prior to schedule your hike!

Stay Active

Cold weather, shorter days and the lure of cuddling up on the sofa can really make staying active a challenge during the winter. If you find yourself spending most of your free time watching TV shows and movies, you might be excited to know that there are plenty of fun things to do at the beach that don’t involve “the beach”.

Now, here is the perfect opportunity to stay healthy and active this fall, winter and spring. Indoor tennis at Dave Marshall Tennis or Sea Colony Tennis. Both offer indoor tennis facilities with experienced tennis pros, to help enhance the experience and your game. Enjoy clinics, camps, and fun for all levels - all year long. Bring the family or come alone, you’ll be sure to have a great time.

Not into tennis? How about yoga at the beach, walks on the boardwalk, state park nature trails or a list of outdoor and indoor activities year round. Experience beautiful bike rides through the 3.5 mile paved state park loop. Explore each of the nature parks by walking along the shore and weaving around natural ponds. Wherever you go you’ll find yourself surrounded by a wealth of beauty and the refreshing smell of the ocean.

Stay active and healthy this season. Schedule your beach getaway today.
