Rehoboth Beach Farmers' Market

Delaware's community-run farmers' markets are growing and thriving. You can purchase items from state-wide vendors all in one place. Rehoboth Beach is no exception when it comes to finding fresh offerings from local farmers and vendors. Simply stated on their website, the Rehoboth Beach Farmers' Market is “real food, real farmers, real community.”

Regular vendors offer an impressive array of fruits, veggies, meats, cheeses, seafood, flowers, coffee, ice cream, and prepared foods. Every week the Farmers' Market features a different guest vendor and holds special events including cooking or flower arranging demonstrations, and live music from local musicians.

“Under the Green Tent” patrons will find on-the-spot education and resources for preserving the environment and reducing our carbon footprint. And as a bonus, shoppers get a free veggie container to use during their market shopping experience.

There is still plenty of time to get late summer produce such as tomatoes, green beans and lima beans. Early fall produce, including pumpkins, apples, plums, leafy green kale and radishes, have arrived. Not only are these items tasty, but for the artistically inclined, they can be the inspiration for a beautiful and colorful painting.

The Rehoboth Beach Farmers' Market is located at Grove Park in Rehoboth Beach and is open Tuesdays from noon to 4pm. During the month of October, hours change to noon to 3pm. Mark your calendar now for a special holiday market to be held on Saturday, Nov. 29 from noon to 3pm.

Visit the website to see a complete list of vendors, handy veggie chart, weekly newsletter and delicious recipes.
